Floundering Again |

You know how I know I've lost direction yet again? I start doing terrain projects. Nothing wrong with terrain and it's usually handy to have around, but the fact is that when I don't have a clear vision which figures to do next or if I'm less than enthusiastic about the figures on the old workbench, I turn to terrainmaking.
Well, that time is here again. I didn't finish my new ancient light troops before the tournament ended (and I really couldn't get excited about the figures anyway). In addition, I've been doing more 15mm figures, which are a surefire mood killer. Sure, I need more VC and civilians and casualty markers, but I just don't really like doing 15mm.
Painting is easier with a little bit of external motivation. The bunch of modern British I did for our Force on Force campaign must be the fastest full unit I've ever painted -- even counting the reinforcements I had to get.
I really need to get another goal. Now, where's that box of plastic saxons I got...
...not that I won't finish those zombie-infested tunnels first.
