Yours truly faking painting.

Note the beverage of the gods.

To cater for my giant audience of exactly one subscriber, I went ahead and made another video:

Bug Factory This took slightly less effort than the Komsomol one, but it's still hours of work for roughly two minutes of final product. We'll see how long I keep at this.

February Resolutions is proving to be a tight run. Even though the bugs did enter painting stage finally, I have basically spent all my time so far just cleaning up the parts. Actual assembly and painting are pretty fast and straightforward, but the cleanup takes ages. Life is so much easier for people who don't care about mold lines.... next month I'm taking something a whole lot simpler. And metal. Yes, it's going to be old skool.

I'm also getting into Napoleonics. Nappies are a big hit at the club right now, and when presented with Foundry's closet cleaning deal I bought a small bunch of Portuguese done by the Perrys quite a while back. These just arrived and in true old Perry fashion they are a bit small by today's standards but rather nice figures. I do like the dynamic firing line poses better, the march poses are clearly done with a 15mm frontage basing in mind. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with those, since I really really dislike the idea of varied basing but on 25mm washers these guys are going to be a rather sparse formation...

Loot In other news, the dreadnoughts for the Space Comrades just arrived. I'm going to build these and then some transports for the Comrades (parts should already be in the mail) and then I'm really going to call it done. Done, I said, all done!
