Grande Fiesta De Bug I finished a batch of new bugs just in time for the big game. The Mobile Infantry was back to close the bug holes forever. Unfortunately it didn't go so well for them, the bugs chewed them up pretty bad.

Which was a nice change from the bug stompfests of the previous game. I may have stacked the odds a bit too much, but I really wanted to see that you could actually win with the bugs. Giving the humans an objective stops them from retrograding all the time.

I'm starting to think the biggest real problems with the game are the oganization of the rulebook (there's no index, the table of contents is very sparse and it's infuriatingly hard to find stuff in there) and the standard scenarios which are all basically bodycount games. With some real objectives the game is much more interesting.

But now it's time for something else for a change. I still have some bugs to paint and build and they'll be back for more later.

Grande Fiesta De Bug And I guess I need to buy a book about butterflies. I'm not happy with the wing patterns I did for the hoppers. I'll try something else for the next batch and maybe even redo the first three.
