After getting my Africans done, I felt a strange freedom. I had nothing that I 'had to do' on the table. I could do anything I wanted to do. Stuff I really wanted to do.

So I grabbed Test Subject S and we started working on some Daleks and Cybermen. These are the Black Tree models I had ordered for this purpose. We also washed some plastic toy figures, which quite frankly are lower quality but somewhat cheaper than lead.

Test Subject S handled cleaning and priming the daleks by herself while I did the cybermen. Looks like I need to get some more tools because I cut myself working with an unfamiliar blade as she was using the one I usually have...

Test Subject S also expressed concern that we only have the bad guys, which prompted me to dig up my Doctor and Sarah Jane figures. I'll be handling them soon enough. I also proposed using my newly bought Black Tree generic sci-fi troopers as UNIT and she agreed to the plan.

So, the cunning plan is proceeding pretty nicely. I guess the next step is trying out the rules and starting with the terrain. And I need to catch up on the recent series if we really are to redo the Battle of Canary Wharf.

Now, where could I get a 1/48 Nissan Figaro?
