Resolutions February: Deadloque Rising |

Ok, I finished painting the undead from the Lady Wintermore's Fangs box set, plus a blister of werewolf jägers which completes my undead infantry and in fact my entire undead set. The undead force is perhaps a bit heavy on the cavalry, but you can't really stick all of these figures in a single Flintloque game anyways... and there's still a long way to anything resembling a Slaughterloo force.
The Deadloque figures were pretty nice and I'm actually slightly disappointed I couldn't give them more attention. Especially the character figures are very nice and would have deserved better paintjobs.
But schedules are schedules and WIP doesn't count for zilch. I find it best to finish things and concentrate on forward momentum. Dwelling on past mistakes is not very fruitful and my ample back stock makes sure I do not have to contemplate repaints for lack of fresh lead.
Next month, we will turn to the ferach. Maybe it's time for the cavalry to ride into action? I just need more cavalry bases first, the undead riders exhausted my supply.
In slightly related news, I counted my unpainted Chronopia figures last night. Naturally I don't have the notes with me, but the results were actually a bit surprising. I had more of some figures than I had thought and less of others. But in general I have way too many for Chronopia but not quite enough of anything to really build alternate mass battle armies. And for a couple of forces it might even be difficult to whip up complete Chronopia forces. Though it must be said I'm sure I didn't locate quite all of the figures...
But the good news is that none of the piles is really impossible to tackle. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and start working on them, one army at a time. More orcy goodness on the way...
P.S. Current score is 112 - 47
