March does not come in like a lion.

Only 21 figures completed in March, vs. 57 bought. Ok, the 108 terrain items also finished don't count for this statistic but them's the breaks I guess. Still managed to keep my head above water though the headway made in January and February is dwindling.

Apart from painting up my new Ainsty terrain accessories, the month was very much characterized by the Deadloque elf cavalry. I started painting them immediately and finished them on the 19th with basically no other figures done in that time. Quite frankly my patience with pseudo-nappy uniforms is in short supply right now... but there's still two more batches of the ponsy buggers to paint.

That's one thing. The other is that my purchase discipline is cracking. I bought a bunch of stuff I didn't get around to painting at all. Partly because I was overwhelmed by the existing work queue (I'll get around to those soon enough), but also partly because I bought stuff I had no immediate intention to paint. Though only a small proportion, that's the habit I really need to break.

I also pledged money on a Kickstarter after a couple month's of hiatus. Since that's technically not funded yet, I'll be counting the results in April. And as discussed previously, I'm only counting the basic set and any extras I specifically purchase, not the extra freebies that inevitably get tacked on. After all, I have no control over those.

On the gaming front, the Heist mini campaign started and I got back into comic style battle reports. Those are fun to do and also substantially less work than video stuff. I think I'll keep at it.

I've been putting off airbrushing my Slammers tanks for too long, though one reason is that there was an error with my magnet order and consequently I'm still waiting for my magnets to get here... Airbrushing in itself is okay, but I hate the setup and takedown. Therefore I tend to procrastinate with airbrushing tasks, always preferring something else instead.

Ok, enough about that. On towards Bloody April!
