Yes, it looks like I missed the June update. Sorry...

I fully expected to sink further into the mire, but it seems that my purchase control has been pretty good. I only really caved in at RopeCon faced with a -30% discount and even then I only picked up a couple of boxes.

Granted, the figures for bought stuff is missing the DUST Kickstarter because they haven't got their pledge manager up so I don't know the final count. But it's still pretty good going mostly due to good ouput in June.

But the really good thing is that it looks like things will be improving. There will be some stuff coming in from DUST, but no huge amounts. But more importantly, I spent a lot of effort in July prepping miniatures for painting. I'm working on the men-at-arms right now but I also have two batches of tribal warriors ready to take paint. This will take pressure off future months and give me more time to paint other stuff.

The heat wave continues still. The next year will be a bumper year for boat sales... but that is part of the reason I've been doing so much prep work. It's simply too nice to sit inside with a paintbrush.

Well, the autumn will inevitably come and the painting shed will become a nice place again...
