...another day older and deeper in debt... Yes, folks, we are pretty much sunk. Despite painting 119 figures last month (most of them 15mm, admittedly), there was just no way to offset the giant purchase of over 700 models.

With just two months left there is no realistic way for me to make up the numbers painting 28mm figures. I could just give up, or I could try painting large batches of smaller scale models.

On the plus side, this already got me to finish my 15mm WWII Americans that had been sitting on the shelf for quite a while. And while I don't particularly enjoy painting 15mm, I can do it pretty fast. And there's also my much neglected micro armor collection and 1/1200 ancient galleys that could use a loving brush... (no, I'm not going to stoop to counting micro infantry individually)

...the only problem with them is that in many cases I really have no idea what to use them for and consequently I'm a bit at loss how to base them. Previously I used to base micro armor individually, but lately I've come to dislike overly fiddly games with a zillion things to move. So I've been playing around with the idea to re-base the micro stuff in groups on larger bases to represent platoons of armour and so on. It's just that I haven't quite decided on the exact basing.

P.S. Yes, the diary update is lagging behind a bit, due to the technical difficulties over the weekend and that I forgot my painting log home this morning. Except to see it updated tomorrow.
