Resolutions February: Round Killing Things

Feb 23, 2015 09:12

Yours truly faking painting.

Note the beverage of the gods.

Dark-Star Warriors I finished another batch of dwarfs. These will probably be the only thing I finish this month, work has been progressing slowly. Being knocked out for a week by a particularly nasty bug didn't help, but it's not all that.

I just started doing other stuff and my painting time has dwindled. Quitting gaming six months ago is beginning to tell -- without even a theoretically gameable target and perhaps more importantly without any obligations the drive just isn't there.

But hey, it's not like I'm getting paid for this anyway. Maybe I just need a break.

Nevertheless, the Chronopia figures are always fun to paint even though I have no clear idea what to use them for. I never really liked the rules that much and even if I did, they really can't handle this many figures anyway.

I still have some dwarfs left but I'll leave them be for now. Next months I'll be doing some elves just to change the pace a bit.

Dark-Star Warriors In case you are interested, the dwarfs are done in a hybrid style, starting off from a silver drybrush on black base, some larger detasil areas are washed and the rest is three color.

And there are a few other types in there, even though the Dark-Star Warriors made up the bulk of this batch.
