Still in the red... though I'm not that concerned about it since I've basically stopped buying figures. As long as I don't call it quits I'll catch up at some point.

February was a slow month. I can't recall the last time I painted this few figures. I've been very busy with other stuff and I got knocked out by the flu for a week or so.

But primarily painting just hasn't been my primary focus lately.

Which is okay, I guess. I need the break and I am really stoked by the new stuff I'm doing. I think right now the important thing is finding a good balance. I like painting and don't want to quit completely, but I need time for other stuff too.

And since I dropped out of gaming, there is no need to paint. Removing that exterior pressure does change things. Even though most of my production always went straight to storage, at least previously there was the pretense that it was meant for a gaming project just waiting to materialize.

I've stopped faking it. I'm painting because I like painting and that's it.

Maybe there will be a new project that will spark my interest again. No, I'm sure there will be. I just don't know when.

Meanwhile, I won't let the fire die out.
