Everyone and their dog has a blog these days, so why not me? Unlike the rest of them, though, I'd never be happy with a blog site or even off-the-shelf blog software.

I just had to tweak my forum software to add blogging features to my site, didn't I?

I won't stop writing articles and pictorials nor will I stop updating the painting diary, have no fear. However, I probably will decrease the amount of random ramblings on my mailings list and put them here instead.

The way I see it, a "real" article is a more carefully thought out piece while a blog entry is more off the cuff. The infrastructure makes it easier for me to post a blog entry than a real article, but the expression is also somewhat more limited.
