Stuck my infantry on bases last night. While this in itself went just fine, I discovered something about the figure mix I got.

The PAVN company boxes come with optional figures to outfit the company with either B40 or B41 (that's RPG-2 or RPG-7) launchers. This is true. However, it does not come with enough riflemen to do both, so you need to decide which one you want when you base them and then you're stuck with your choice.

I found this a bit odd given that the box does come with considerable number of extra figures. It's just that the extra figures are mostly unarmed officers and bugle players (yes, really) that might be useful for a HQ stand or maybe a marching band stand for the victory parade, but not so much for frontline fighting companies.

Oh well, maybe I'll order some reinforcements from Peter Pig to keep my options open.
