Spring has finally come to the north.

This is evident in two ways. First of all there is some evidence of the sun. In fact, it is shining through the dusty windows in my painting den and blinding me so badly I have to wear a cap while painting. This gets better once the summer really gets here as the sun will be higher.

The second thing is that it's finally warm enough to prime figures out of doors. No more primer colored sneezing, at least for a while.

Oh yes, one more thing. I also started cleaning and assembling figures out of doors. It's too much bother to get all the paints out, but a couple of knives, files and a tube of glue is easy enough to take to the patio table.

The first figures to enjoy this new treatment were the final few Russians in Project R. All of them are now cleaned and primed. Unfortunately spring also brings some other hobbies to the fore, and I don't have painting time every evening anymore. But progress is inevitable.
