The huts
Two more 15mm huts in the making. After googling for some pictures, I decided to make them same color all over -- that seems to be the way they really are.

Skirmishers
Skirmishers getting their fleshtones.

In the shipyard
Test assembly. Needs more paint and I will add details like portholes last.
|
|
Terrain tiles
This one was slightly delayed due to extra layers of paint on the baby food lid.

|
The broken pillar
I had this semi-finished for a very long time, but now I finally finished the basing. I also have four similar pillars not broken, now I just need some freeway pieces.

Cargo stacks
After the successful prototype, I quickly made more stacks.

Skirmishers
The flesh is washed and the tunics come next.

The finished huts. Not a whole lot of differenct to the washed ones...

In the shipyard
After making the initial hull shape, I glued on cardboard to make the side railings.
|
|
In the shipyard
Trying to hold the cardboard in place -- this actually did not work and I ended up just holding the pieces until the glue stuck, which luckily wasn't too long.
|
|
In the shipyard
Letting the glue dry. I had to make the sides out of four pieces because I didn't have larger cardboard pieces handy.

In the shipyard
Assembling the superstructure, mostly from foamboard.

In the shipyard

Black Gesso
Black gesso, the alternative for melting your brain with solvent fumes.

A couple of figures primed with black gesso.

Terrain tiles
More plain tiles.

|
In the shipyard
First coat of paint. I decided to go for black hull and white superstructure with gray deck.
